From November to April, the weather is pleasant with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F), making it the perfect time for outdoor activities and sightseeing. The winter months see clear blue skies and minimal rainfall, ideal for exploring the city's attractions.
Summer in Dubai, from May to October, brings intense heat with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F). However, Dubai is well-prepared for the summer months with air-conditioned malls, indoor attractions, and evening activities. The city's modern infrastructure ensures comfort even during the hottest months.
Rainfall is minimal throughout the year, averaging less than 100mm annually. Humidity can be high during summer months, especially near the coast, but the city's climate-controlled environments provide relief. The Arabian Gulf maintains warm water temperatures year-round, perfect for water activities.
Dubai is recognized as one of the safest cities in the world, with low crime rates and excellent security measures. The city maintains a strong police presence and modern surveillance systems ensure public safety. Tourists can explore the city confidently, both during the day and at night.
Respect for local laws and customs is important. Public displays of affection should be avoided, and appropriate dress is expected in public areas, especially when visiting mosques and traditional areas. Alcohol consumption is permitted in licensed venues, but public intoxication is illegal.

English is widely spoken alongside Arabic, making communication easy for international visitors. Road signs are in both English and Arabic, and most assistance staff in hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions speak English fluently.
